Liverpool Trip

April 2018 - AS Diss is offering a members' tour to Liverpool

Visit a major port of empire - a noble city, much abused by Hitler's Luftwaffe and 1960's architects, but still having more listed buildings per acre than any other UK city outside London.  Experience an accessible part of the once 12-mile docks in their sheltered Irish Sea location, which allowed trading far to the West and South; enjoy 2 cathedrals, 3 museums and many other locations in and around this vibrant city.

Full details will be found by clicking on 'Our Society' above, then selecting 'Documents' to open a comprehensive leaflet, which includes a printable application form.  £75 deposit should be sent to Sara Muldoon.
